📋 Overview of Role

Western Sydney University Business School is seeking a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Business Technology and Analytics to contribute to its AACSB-accredited academic environment. The role combines high-quality teaching, curriculum development, impactful research and engagement with industry, government and professional communities, with particular emphasis on Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies.

🎯 Key Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

• Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

• Design, coordinate and enhance subjects within Business Analytics and AI Management programmes.

• Support curriculum innovation and ensure programmes remain contemporary, research-informed and industry-relevant.

• Develop and maintain a strong research profile through high-quality scholarly publications.

• Lead and contribute to research projects and pursue competitive external research funding.

• Supervise Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidates.

• Build productive partnerships with industry, government, professional bodies and community organisations.

• Contribute to collaborative research, industry-engaged education and improved student employability outcomes.

🎓 Qualifications & Candidate Profile

• Required Education: Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.

• Experience & Specializations: Demonstrated expertise in the application of advanced data analytics and Artificial Intelligence in organisational contexts.

• Demonstrated experience in teaching, curriculum design and development.

• Established research profile with high-quality journal publications, including publications in ABDC A/A* ranked journals.

• Demonstrated ability to attract external research funding.

• Experience supervising HDR candidates.

• Proven ability to develop productive relationships with academic, community, industry, government and professional partners.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Working Rights: Applicants must provide evidence of full-time working rights in Australia at the time of application.
