About the Research Project
The project, “Intelligent Detection and Mitigation of Cyber Attacks in Information-Centric Networking (ICN)”, focuses on implementing an artificial intelligence-based approach to identify and mitigate cyberattacks that could compromise data confidentiality and access control.
The research aims to strengthen security in information-centric networking environments through intelligent detection and mitigation techniques.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:
M.E./M.Tech. or B.E./B.Tech. with First Class in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology or an equivalent discipline.
Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA from a recognised university or institute.
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with:
A strong academic record.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Python programming.
Ph.D. Opportunity
The selected Project Associate-I candidate will have an opportunity to register for a regular Ph.D. programme, provided they satisfy the eligibility requirements for Ph.D. admission in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at VNIT Nagpur.
Ph.D. registration is subject to the institute's admission requirements.

Duration of Appointment
The appointment is purely temporary.
Initial appointment: One year.
Extension: Subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements.
Maximum duration: Until completion of the project.
The position does not constitute permanent employment at VNIT Nagpur.
