The successful candidate will advance scholarship in strategic management while contributing to innovative business education, doctoral mentoring, and engagement with organizations and communities.

🎯 Key Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

• Conduct and publish high-impact research in strategic management and related areas.

• Teach doctoral, MBA, master’s, and undergraduate courses in Strategy and related disciplines.

• Contribute to executive and professional education initiatives.

• Mentor doctoral students and junior faculty members.

• Support curriculum development, academic leadership, and strategic initiatives.

• Build interdisciplinary collaborations with UB faculty and external industry, government, and academic partners.

🎓 Qualifications & Candidate Profile

• Required Education: Ph.D. in a business discipline or related field.

• Experience & Specializations: Strong research portfolio for Assistant Professor applicants; Associate Professor candidates should demonstrate influential scholarship, top-journal publications, effective teaching, and qualifications appropriate for tenure at a major research university.

• Research Areas: Strategic management, competitive or corporate strategy, entrepreneurship, innovation, international business, sustainability, technology strategy, or related fields.

• Preferred: Interdisciplinary research, externally funded research, research/practice center development, and commitment to an inclusive and collaborative academic environment.
