The successful candidate will direct the Community Economic Development Clinic (CEDC), one of seven clinics within the Sturm College of Law’s Student Law Office.

The Clinic provides free legal services to:

• Nonprofit organizations

• Small businesses

• Community-based enterprises

Its work includes:

• Business entity formation

• Tax-exempt status applications

• Contract drafting and review

• Legal counseling for nonprofits and small businesses

• Work involving federal, state, and local government agencies

Students develop transactional, advisory, regulatory, and client-service skills through direct clinical practice.

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver innovative and high-quality legal education.

• Teach relevant legal doctrine and professional skills.

• Direct and contribute to the Community Economic Development Clinic.
