Overview of Role

The Evergreen State College seeks a full-time faculty member to teach Business and Applied Management at the undergraduate level within its School of Professional and Continuing Education.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Business and Applied Management courses.

• Contribute to the Applied Management Certificate.

• Develop and team-teach interdisciplinary courses.

• Teach in-person and online.

• Deliver synchronous instruction during evenings and weekends.

• Participate in development of new certificates and curricula.

• Advise students on academic and career pathways.

• Provide written narrative evaluations instead of traditional grades.

• Conduct individual end-of-quarter student evaluation meetings.

• Collaborate with faculty from disciplines such as:

  • Social Sciences

  • Humanities

  • Arts

  • Physical Sciences

Minimum Qualifications:

• MBA or Ph.D. in Business Management or a related field

• At least 1 year of teaching experience
