Overview of the Role

The selected faculty members will be responsible for:

• Teaching at the Graduate level in Commerce & Management

• Delivering courses related to Accounting, Finance, Management and allied areas

• Coordinating academic activities

• Supporting development of respective academic programmes

• Conducting and publishing research

• Mentoring students and research scholars

• Contributing to institutional and academic development

1. Professor – Accounting & Finance

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• Ph.D.

• First Class or equivalent grade in a Master’s Degree in:

  • Business Management

  • Administration

  • Finance

  • Relevant discipline

Research Requirements

Candidates should also have:

• Minimum 10 SCI publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals

• Minimum Research Score of 120

• Successfully guided at least 2 doctoral candidates

Experience

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in teaching / research / industry

• At least 3 years of experience equivalent to the level of Associate Professor

Candidates from industry/professional backgrounds may also be considered under the alternative eligibility provisions prescribed by NMIMS. (Indeed)

2. Associate Professor – Accounting & Finance

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• Ph.D.

• First Class or equivalent grade in a Master’s Degree in:

  • Business Management

  • Administration

  • Finance

  • Relevant discipline

Research Requirements

• Minimum 7 SCI publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals

• Minimum Research Score of 75

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of full-time experience in teaching / research / industry

• At least 3 years of Post-Ph.D. experience

Qualified professionals from industry may also be considered under the alternative eligibility provisions specified in the recruitment criteria. (Indeed)

3. Assistant Professor – Accounting & Finance

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• Ph.D. – Mandatory

• Minimum 55% marks in Master’s Degree in:

  • Business Management

  • Administration

  • Finance

  • Relevant discipline

Research Requirements

• Minimum 2 SCI publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals

Desirable Profile

Preference may be given to candidates with:

• Around 2 years of relevant experience

• Strong research and publication record

• At least two papers based on Ph.D. research presented at conferences/seminars supported by agencies such as:

  • UGC

  • ICSSR

  • CSIR

  • Similar recognized agencies

Research contributions may include journal articles, books, research periodicals, consultancy projects, doctoral guidance and patents, as applicable. (Indeed)
