Sikkim University invites applications from newly admitted Ph.D. Scholars of the 2026 Batch for the Non-NET Fellowship. Eligible scholars who are not receiving financial assistance from any other source may submit their applications on or before 31 August 2026.

Eligibility

The fellowship is open to:

• Newly admitted Ph.D. Scholars of Sikkim University belonging to the 2026 Batch

• Scholars who are not receiving financial assistance/fellowship from any other source

• Applicants fulfilling the conditions prescribed by Sikkim University for the Non-NET Fellowship

Documents Required

Applicants are required to submit their application along with the prescribed supporting documents, including:

• Application in prescribed format – Annexure I

• Bond

• DRC Recommendation

• Other relevant supporting documents as prescribed by the University

The completed application must be duly forwarded by the Head of the Department.

How to Apply

Eligible Ph.D. scholars should complete the application in the prescribed Annexure I format and attach the required Bond, DRC recommendation, and other relevant documents.

The application, duly forwarded by the Head of the Department, should be submitted to:
