Required Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• Master’s degree or above

• At least 18 graduate credit hours in Business Management Development

• Minimum 3 years of full-time professional work experience in a business environment, excluding teaching

Extensive professional business experience and/or relevant industry credentials may substitute for some graduate-level Business coursework.

For all three faculty pools:

• Appointments are made on an as-needed basis.

• Employment is normally limited to the duration of the assigned course.

• Evening teaching assignments may be required.

• Weekend teaching may also be required.

• Courses may use different delivery methods depending on academic and student needs.

• Some assignments may require physical presence at the designated San Jacinto College location.

• Part-time faculty do not receive all rights, privileges, and benefits available to regular full-time employees.
