Overview of the Recruitment

Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University invites eligible candidates to attend walk-in interviews for five project-based research positions across agricultural sciences, fisheries, agrometeorology, biotechnology, plant physiology, GIS and remote sensing.

The positions are purely contractual and ad-hoc in nature and are linked to externally funded or University-funded research projects.

1. Young Professional-II – 2 Posts

• Project: National Surveillance Programme for Aquatic Animal Diseases (NSPAAD)

• Unit: College of Fisheries, Datia

• Number of Posts: 2

• Location: Datia, Madhya Pradesh

• Monthly Remuneration: INR 42,000 consolidated

Essential Qualification

Applicants must possess either:

• M.F.Sc. in a relevant discipline such as:

  • Aquatic Animal Health Management

  • Aquaculture

  • Aquatic Environment Management

  • Fish Biotechnology

  • Fishery Microbiology

OR

• Postgraduate / M.Sc. in a relevant discipline such as:

  • Microbiology

  • Biotechnology

  • Zoology

  • Life Sciences

  • Animal Biotechnology

  • Veterinary Microbiology

  • Agricultural Microbiology

  • Food Microbiology

• Minimum: 21 years

  • INR 25,000 per month for the first 2 years

Essential Qualification

Applicants must have:

• First Division in B.Sc. Agriculture

• First Division in M.Sc. in one of the following:

Essential Qualification

• M.Sc. / M.Tech. in any branch of:

The candidate must have specialization or dissertation experience in:

• GIS

• Remote Sensing applications

• Landscape resource assessment

Applicants must also have:

• First Class in graduation

• First Class in postgraduate studies

• Residency in Uttar Pradesh

Nature of Appointment

All positions are:

• Purely contractual

The appointments do not provide any right to regularisation or permanent absorption at RLBCAU.
