Overview of the Opportunity

Rajiv Gandhi University invites eligible candidates for a walk-in interview for one Research Associate and one Field Investigator under an ICSSR-funded research project.

The appointments are purely temporary and will be limited to the specified project periods.

Selected candidates will be required to join within five working days of selection.

1. Research Associate – 1 Post

Essential Qualification

Applicants must have:

• Postgraduate degree in a Social Science discipline

• Minimum 55% marks

• NET / M.Phil. / Ph.D.

• At least 2 years of research experience as a Research Assistant in any project

Duration

3 months, with effect from December 2026

Remuneration

INR 47,000 per month fixed

2. Field Investigator – 1 Post

Essential Qualification

Applicants must possess:

• Postgraduate degree in a Social Science discipline

• Minimum 55% marks

Duration

2 months, with effect from November 2026

Remuneration

INR 20,000 per month fixed

Additional Requirement

Candidates are required to have knowledge of:

• Hindi typing

• Hindi writing

Selection Process

Selection will be conducted through an interview in blended mode.

Candidates must bring:

• Original certificates

• Original testimonials

• Self-attested photocopies

• CV / Bio-data

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
