The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) invites applications for 01 Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) position in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering for a research project focused on Quantum Machine Learning.

Position Overview

Project Title

Development of Quantum Machine Learning Use Cases and Applications

The selected researcher will contribute to advanced work involving Quantum Machine Learning and its applications, combining research across computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, and related engineering disciplines.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree in areas such as:

• Computer Science

• Information Technology

• Artificial Intelligence

• Data Science

• Electrical Engineering

• Electronics Engineering

• Electronics and Communication Engineering

• Related disciplines

Candidates with an equivalent qualification as prescribed under the applicable funding-agency norms may also be considered.

The notification also indicates eligibility for candidates having relevant research, teaching, design and development experience after M.Sc./M.E./M.Tech., subject to the prescribed requirements.

Research Requirements

Applicants should have a strong research profile relevant to the project.

As indicated in the notification:

• Candidates should have at least one SCI journal publication

• Relevant prior research experience will be preferred

• Doctoral research should preferably align with the proposed project work

• Experienced candidates will be given preference

Academic Requirements

The advertisement specifies that candidates should maintain a good academic record, including a minimum of 60% or equivalent in graduation and above.

Remuneration

Continuation will be subject to the applicable project and institute conditions.
