Position Overview

Project Title

“CFD and Machine Learning Approaches for 3D Printing of Protein Food-Based Inks”

The selected Post-Doctoral Fellow will work on an interdisciplinary research project combining computational fluid dynamics, machine learning, rheology, and extrusion-based 3D printing.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in one of the following or a related discipline:

• Chemical Engineering

• Mechanical Engineering

• Materials Science

• Related fields

The Ph.D. should be from a recognized institution or university.

Academic Requirements

Candidates should have:

• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade from graduation onwards

• Minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in Class 10 and Class 12

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Strong academic record, preferably at least First Division

• Publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals

• Experience in computational techniques

• Programming skills

• Data analysis experience

• Interest and willingness to learn rheometry

• Interest in extrusion-based 3D printing

Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply, as stated in the advertisement.

Salary / Remuneration

The selected Post-Doctoral Fellow will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of:

INR 72,000 to INR 84,000 per month

The exact remuneration will be determined according to the applicable institute norms and candidate profile.

Appointment Duration

The initial appointment will be for:

01 Year

The appointment may be extended based on satisfactory performance.
