Overview of Role

The Keller Center for Innovation in Engineering Education at Princeton University invites applications for a part-time Lecturer to teach EGR 491 – High-Tech Entrepreneurship during Spring 2027.

The course introduces students to the process of launching and commercializing technology ventures and is a core offering within the Keller Center’s entrepreneurship curriculum. A general course syllabus is already established.

Key Teaching Responsibilities

The Lecturer will:

• Teach EGR 491 – High-Tech Entrepreneurship.

• Introduce students to technology venture creation and commercialization.

• Deliver instruction within Princeton’s entrepreneurship curriculum.

• Work from an established general course syllabus.

• Contribute practical and academic expertise in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Appointment and duty time will depend on course enrollment.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile

Required / Competitive Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in:

  • Engineering

  • Business

  • Related field

A Ph.D. is preferred.

Candidates may also be considered based on substantial professional experience following a Master’s degree, including experience:

• Founding technology ventures

• Operating technology ventures

• Advising technology ventures

• Working in entrepreneurship

• Supporting technology commercialization

Preferred Experience

Prior teaching experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• Entrepreneurship

• High-Tech Entrepreneurship

• Technology Commercialization

• Innovation

• Related disciplines

Nature of Appointment

• Part-time Lecturer appointment

• Spring 2027 semester

• Start date: January 16, 2027

• Possible renewal for the 2027–28 academic year

• Fully in-person position at Princeton University

• Appointment level and duty time subject to enrollment
