Office of the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade (CLA), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India is recruiting Young Professionals on a contractual basis in New Delhi. A total of six vacancies are indicated across Economics, Law, Management, Engineering, IT/Computer Science, and Commerce backgrounds.

About the Opportunity

The Office of the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade (CLA), under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, is inviting candidates from multiple academic and professional backgrounds for engagement as Young Professionals.

The opportunity is based in New Delhi and is offered on a contractual basis with consolidated monthly remuneration.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates should possess the relevant qualification from a recognized university:

Economics

• Master’s Degree in Economics

Law

• Master’s Degree in Law / LL.B.

Management / Business Administration

• MBA

Engineering / Technology

• B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science

• MCA is also listed as an eligible qualification

Commerce

• Master’s Degree in Commerce

Key Skills & Competencies

Candidates are expected to possess:

• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

• Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to comprehend, analyse and interpret policy documents, government notifications, reports and data

• Experience in research, report writing and preparing presentations

• Knowledge and effective use of AI tools and digital productivity tools

Knowledge of Foreign Trade Policy, export promotion schemes and international trade-related matters will be an added advantage.

Remuneration

Consolidated Salary: INR 60,000 per month

• Leave entitlement is 1.5 days per completed month, subject to approval.

• Normal working hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on working days.

• Candidates may be required to work beyond office hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Engagement is subject to verification of educational qualifications, experience, police verification and medical fitness.

• Adverse conduct, misinformation or unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination without notice.
