The National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal) invites applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under an ANRF-ECRG sponsored research project in the Department of Electrical Engineering. About the Project

The selected JRF will work on the project “Robust Event-Triggered Control Strategies for Multi-Robotic Systems: Design and Implementation.”

The research involves the theoretical development and validation of robotic systems, with emphasis on control strategies for multi-robot systems.

Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess either:

• B.Tech. in Systems and Control Engineering / Robotics and Automation / Electrical Engineering (EEE) / Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

OR

• M.Tech. in Systems and Control / Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Robotics and Automation

Academic Requirements

Candidates should have:

• Minimum 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA at both UG and PG levels for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL categories

• Minimum 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA at both UG and PG levels for SC/ST/PwD categories

GATE/CSIR-UGC NET/DBT/ICMR NET qualification is not mandatory. However, candidates possessing these qualifications will be given preference.

Final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the interview.

Desirable Qualifications

Candidates should preferably have:

• Strong foundation in Mathematics

• Knowledge of MATLAB

• Knowledge of LabVIEW

• Knowledge of Python

Fellowship / Emoluments

Candidates qualified in CSIR-UGC NET or GATE will be eligible for:

INR 37,000 per month + HRA

Candidates without CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualification will be considered for fellowship at the applicable lower rate as per prevailing norms.

HRA will be provided as per Institute rules.

Appointment Duration

The position is for 3 years or until closure of the project, whichever is earlier.

The research fellow's performance will be evaluated after 3 months.

Age Limit

Maximum Age: 32 years

Upper-age relaxation of up to 5 years is available for SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically challenged candidates, as stated in the advertisement.

Ph.D. Opportunity
