Position Overview

Project Title

“High Efficiency Dual Linear Polarized Phased Antenna Array System for X-Band Application”

The selected Research Associate-I will work on an ISRO-sponsored research project involving advanced antenna systems, microwave engineering, phased antenna arrays, and X-band communication technologies.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must fulfil either of the following criteria:

Option 1

• Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or an equivalent discipline.

OR

Option 2

• M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of research, teaching, and design & development experience after M.E./M.Tech.

• At least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable Qualifications / Skills

Preference may be given to candidates with knowledge and experience in:

• Microwave antenna array design

• Phased antenna array systems

• Antenna design and simulation

• ANSYS HFSS

• CST Microwave Studio

• MATLAB

• C / C++

• Embedded Electronics

• RFICs

Preferred Experience

Candidates having relevant experience from allied industries may be given preference during the selection process.

Job Responsibilities

The selected Research Associate-I will be expected to:

• Execute the objectives of the sponsored research project.

• Contribute to research and development of phased antenna array systems.

• Work on high-efficiency dual linear polarized antenna technologies.

• Support microwave and X-band antenna design, simulation, testing, and development.

• Contribute to research documentation and other project-related activities.

Salary / Emoluments

The selected candidate will receive:

INR 58,000 per month + HRA

HRA at 20% may be provided based on the norms of the sponsoring agency.

Age Limit

• General Category: Maximum 35 years

• Age relaxation for OBC / SC / ST candidates will be provided as per Government of India norms.

• Other applicable age relaxation will be governed by NIT Warangal rules and guidelines.

Appointment Duration

The position is offered for:

01 Year

The appointment is project-based and linked to the objectives and requirements of the ISRO-sponsored research project.
