The National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand (NIT Uttarakhand) invites eligible candidates for a Walk-in Interview in Hybrid Mode for 01 JRF / Research Associate-I / Research Associate-II / Research Associate-III position under an ANRF-sponsored research project in the Department of Electronics Engineering.

Position Overview

Project Title

“Advanced Electromagnetic Solutions for Enhanced Wireless Connectivity in Complex Terrains Using Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces and OAM-Based Radiating Structures”

The project is supported under the ANRF PM Professorship Scheme and focuses on advanced electromagnetic and wireless technologies for improving communication connectivity in complex terrain.

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• M.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. in relevant areas such as:

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering

  • RF & Microwave Engineering

  • Digital Signal Processing

  • Signal Processing

  • Allied disciplines

Candidates should have:

• Minimum First Class in B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech.

• GATE / NET qualification – Mandatory

Preferred Age

Preferably below 35 years

JRF Fellowship

INR 37,000 per month + HRA

HRA will be provided as per applicable norms.

2. Research Associate-I

Fellowship

INR 58,000 per month + HRA

3. Research Associate-II

Fellowship

INR 61,000 per month + HRA

4. Research Associate-III

Fellowship

INR 67,000 per month + HRA

HRA for Research Associate positions will be provided as per applicable norms.

Research Associate Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

Option 1

Ph.D. in:

• RF & Microwave Engineering

• Signal Processing

• Communication Systems

• Relevant / allied disciplines

OR

Option 2

M.E. / M.Tech. with:

• Minimum 3 years of research experience

• At least one research paper in an SCI/SCIE-indexed journal

The specialization should preferably be in:

• RF & Microwave Engineering

• Signal Processing

• Communication Systems

• Allied areas

Preferred Age

Preferably below 45 years

The selected candidate will work under the ANRF-funded project subject to applicable project and Institute rules.
