Position Overview

About the Opportunity

The National Institute of Technology Raipur invites applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under an IIT Bhilai Innovation and Technology Foundation (IBITF) sponsored research project.

The project is jointly undertaken by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT Warangal, and the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Department of Information Technology, NIT Raipur.

The selected candidate will work on:

“ChhattisgarhiPay: A Regional Digital Payments Solution with Multimodal Interaction Support”

Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess either:

• M.E. / M.Tech. / MCA

OR

• B.E. / B.Tech. / M.Sc. with qualified GATE/NET

in one of the following or an equivalent discipline:

• Computer Science and Engineering

• Information Technology

• Computer Science

• Computer Applications

Minimum Academic Requirement

Candidates should have:

• Minimum 60% aggregate marks for General candidates

• Minimum 55% aggregate marks for reserved-category candidates

OR

• Minimum 6.5 CGPA for General candidates

• Minimum 5.5 CGPA for reserved-category candidates

on a 10-point scale.

Desirable Qualification

Preference may be given to candidates with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in:

• Machine Learning

• Deep Learning

• Full-Stack Software Development

• Python

• Android App Development

Experience Required
