The National Institute of Technology Patna (NIT Patna) invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for the position of Project Associate (PA) / Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an ANRF-sponsored research project in the Department of Chemical Science and Technology.

The recruitment is for a temporary research position involving metal–ligand complexes and their applications in catalysis.

Position Overview

About the Research Project

The selected candidate will work on a research project focused on the catalytic applications of metal–ligand complexes, particularly complexes involving pyridine nucleobases.

The project falls within the broader areas of chemical sciences, coordination chemistry and catalysis.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry or related disciplines.

• A valid national-level qualification such as CSIR-UGC NET, including LS/JRF, or GATE, as applicable to the JRF position.

Fellowship / Monthly Remuneration
