The National Institute of Technology Mizoram (NIT Mizoram), Aizawl invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for the engagement of Temporary Faculty in the Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities (English) and the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Position Overview

Applications are invited for Temporary Faculty positions in:

1. Basic Sciences & Humanities (BS&H)

• Specialization: English

2. Mechanical Engineering (ME)

Candidates should ensure that their academic qualifications and specialization are relevant to the concerned department.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Applicants must possess the minimum educational qualifications prescribed by NIT Mizoram for engagement as Temporary Faculty.

Candidates are expected to have:

• Consistently good academic records

• Commitment to quality teaching

• Potential and interest in conducting research

• Relevant academic qualifications in the concerned discipline

Nature of Engagement

The appointment will be for Temporary Faculty positions at NIT Mizoram.

Selected faculty members may be expected to contribute to:

• Undergraduate teaching

• Postgraduate teaching

• Academic activities

• Student mentoring

• Research and departmental activities

The institute currently conducts UG, PG and Ph.D. programmes across various disciplines.
