The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal invites applications for the position of Project Associate in the Department of Mathematical and Computational Sciences for an R&D project supported by Space Applications Centre (SAC), ISRO.

Position Overview

About the Project

The selected candidate will work on the R&D project titled:

“Design and Development of Message Authentication Techniques for NavIC”

The project is supported by SAC (ISRO) and focuses on research related to message authentication and associated technologies for NavIC.

Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess:

M.Tech. / MS / M.E. / equivalent qualification in any of the following or other relevant M.Tech specialization:

• Electronics and Communication Engineering

• Communication Engineering

• Signal Processing

• Image Processing

• Computer Science and Engineering

Candidates must have obtained at least 6.5/10 CGPA or 60% aggregate marks from a recognized technical institute or university in a full-time programme.

Remuneration

The selected candidate will receive:

INR 31,000 per month + HRA

HRA will be provided as applicable.

Appointment Duration

The selected candidate will initially be appointed for one year on contract or until completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

Continuation will be based on performance review.

Nature of Appointment

This is a project-based contractual position under an ISRO-SAC supported R&D project at NITK Surathkal.
