The National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa) invites eligible candidates for a Walk-in Interview for 01 Faculty position in Mathematics under the Department of Applied Sciences. The appointment will be purely temporary, initially for 11 months, with provision for yearly extension as per Institute requirements.

The selected candidate will join the Department of Applied Sciences and contribute to teaching and related academic activities in Mathematics at NIT Goa.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• First Class M.Sc. in Mathematics

• Ph.D. in Mathematics

Candidates whose Ph.D. has been awarded or who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are eligible as specified in the advertisement.

All Areas of Mathematics

Candidates with strong academic backgrounds and the ability to contribute effectively to Mathematics teaching at NIT Goa are encouraged to attend the walk-in interview.

Consolidated Pay

The remuneration will depend on the candidate's qualification:

Duration of Appointment

The appointment will initially be for:

11 Months

The position is:

• Purely temporary

• Contractual in nature

• Subject to Institute requirements

• Extendable on a yearly basis as applicable

The services of a contractual employee may be terminated according to the terms prescribed by the Institute.
