About the Opportunity

The Department of Civil Engineering at NIT Delhi is recruiting research personnel for an NBCC (India) Limited-sponsored project focusing on sustainable concrete construction and technology.

The selected candidates will work under the supervision of Dr. Ajay Kumar, Principal Investigator of the project.

Available Positions

1. Project Associate

Essential Qualification:

• ME/M.Tech in Concrete, Building Materials, Structural Engineering, or a suitable specialization.

Monthly Remuneration:

• INR 45,000 + House Rent Allowance (HRA).

2. Research Associate

Essential Qualification:

• Ph.D. thesis submitted or completed.

Monthly Remuneration:

• INR 75,000 + House Rent Allowance (HRA).

Vacancies: A total of 02 posts are advertised across both positions. The notice does not specify a separate vacancy count for each designation.

Desirable Experience

Candidates should possess:

• Good knowledge of concrete technology.

• Understanding of construction practices.

• Familiarity with relevant concrete construction methods and technologies.

• The appointment is purely temporary.

• Selected candidates are expected to join immediately.

• The appointment does not confer any right to extension or reappointment.

Age Limit

Preferred Age: Below 45 years as of the last date of application.

Relaxation in age and qualifications will be applicable according to Government of India rules.

Selection Process

Selection will be conducted through a walk-in interview at NIT Delhi.

The institute reserves the right not to recruit any candidate if suitable candidates are not found.
