Overview of the Opportunity

Nalanda University, Rajgir, invites applications for two Research Assistant positions under the Indian Knowledge Systems research project titled:

“Traditional Coastal Navigation Practices in Cyclone-Prone Regions of India.”

The positions are offered on a project basis under a contractual arrangement with consolidated remuneration.

Nalanda University is an international university and an Institution of National Importance established under the Nalanda University Act, 2010 under the aegis of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

The appointment will initially be for 6 months.

The engagement may be extended based on:

• Performance review

• Project requirements

The total engagement period shall not exceed 2 years or the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess:

• An Undergraduate degree in any discipline

A postgraduate qualification in any discipline is desirable.
