Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• B.E./B.Tech./B.S. in a relevant branch, and

• M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant branch.

• First Class or equivalent is required in at least one of the qualifying degrees. (Nenow)

The qualifications for Guest Faculty are governed by the applicable standards prescribed for regular Assistant Professors under relevant UGC/AICTE/NCTE/COA/RCI regulations and/or Mizoram University rules, as applicable.

Honorarium

The Guest Faculty engagement will be strictly on a per-lecture basis.

• INR 1,500 per lecture

• Subject to a maximum of INR 50,000 per month

Any subsequent revision in the honorarium will apply only after an appropriate decision by Mizoram University.

Nature of Engagement

• The appointment is for Guest Faculty only.

• Engagement will be based on the University's actual teaching requirements.

• Advertisement of the vacancy does not automatically guarantee engagement.

• Conduct of the interview and final engagement will depend on the actual requirement of the University.

• The University may limit the number of applicants called for interview where necessary.
