The School of Business at the University of Mount Union invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Business.

The School of Business delivers accredited undergraduate majors across accounting, finance, management, marketing, and sport business, alongside an online MBA program. The appointed faculty member will deliver core undergraduate business instruction, mentor students, support undergraduate research, and participate in academic and community service.

Key Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

• Instructional Delivery: Teach a range of undergraduate business courses, including:

  • Introduction to Business

  • Business Communication

  • Sales Management

  • Legal and Ethical Issues of Business

• Student Mentorship: Serve as an academic advisor and mentor for undergraduate business majors, and support students in research initiatives.

• Service: Participate actively in research and service activities within the School of Business, the University, and the community.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile

• Educational Credentials: Earned doctorate (Ph.D. / DBA) in Business or a closely related discipline. (ABD candidates may be considered at the designation of Visiting Professor).
