Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT Allahabad) invites applications from Indian nationals for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position on contract in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The position is under an Indo–Sri Lanka Joint Bilateral Science & Technology Programme sponsored research project.

Position Overview

About the Project

The project is a collaborative research initiative between MNNIT Allahabad, India and the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), Sri Lanka.

The research focuses on developing secure and bio-safe NFMI-based Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) by integrating:

• Near Field Magnetic Induction (NFMI)

• Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Blockchain Technology

• Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs)

The proposed system is intended for next-generation healthcare applications.

Research Responsibilities

The selected JRF will contribute to the design and development of the proposed NFMI-based Wireless Body Area Network, including work on:

• Compact MI sensor nodes

• Data compression algorithms

• Blockchain-enabled secure communication

• AI-based healthcare data processing

• Theoretical analysis and mathematical modelling

• Algorithm development

• MATLAB/Python simulations

• Hardware implementation

• System integration

• Prototype development

• Experimental validation

The candidate will also contribute to international research publications and collaborative Indo–Sri Lanka research activities.
