The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Uttarakhand has invited applications from eligible Indian nationals for Temporary Faculty Positions for the academic year 2026–27. Vacancies are available in the Departments of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics Engineering (ECE), Chemistry (CY), and Humanities & Social Sciences (HSS).

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

• First Class throughout academic career.

• Minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.5/10 at both UG and PG levels from recognized Universities/Institutes.

Desirable Qualification

Preference will be given to candidates who have obtained their Ph.D. from NITs, IITs, Central Funded Universities (CFIs), or Institutes with NIRF ranking.

Salary / Remuneration

The remuneration is applicable for candidates possessing a Ph.D. degree in the relevant field.
