Fellowship & Remuneration

  • Consolidated Pay-slab: INR. 56,000/- per month

  • House Rent Allowance (HRA): + 30% HRA on the base consolidated amount.

  • Note: Salary for retired or superannuated government employees will be fixed according to prevailing IRD norms.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

  • Degree: PhD in Electrochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.

  • Research Track Record: A strong publication record specifically in electrochemical biosensing.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in wearable or point-of-care biosensing devices.

  • Familiarity with flexible electronics, embedded systems, and microfluidic/lab-on-chip platforms.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in experimental design and troubleshooting.

  • Effective scientific writing and communication skills.

Relaxations

  • A 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to SC/ST candidates.
