The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), a Deemed to be University under the Department of Commerce, is inviting applications for the position of Corporate Relations & Career Advancement Coordinator (CRCAC). The engagement is on a contract basis for the Kakinada and GIFT City campuses.

Location

Stationed at Kakinada & GIFT City Campus, but expected to work for IIFT as a whole.

Remuneration

Consolidated salary of ₹1,00,000/- to ₹1,50,000/- per month, depending upon qualifications and experience.

Tenure

Initial contract period of one year. Extendable up to a maximum of 3 years, renewable yearly, based on performance and institutional requirements.

Age Limit

Minimum 25 years and maximum 50 years as on the last date of application receipt.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for establishing tie-ups with reputable industries and corporates.

  • Interact with industry experts and prospective employers.

  • Coordinate in-campus and ex-campus placement drives for the Institute's students.

  • Explore zonal opportunities to convert more companies and work closely with campus-specific CRCAOM members to address their issues.

    Eligibility and Experience Requirements

Description

Essential Qualification

MBA/PGDBM or Post-graduate degree from a recognized Institution/University with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are mandatory.

Essential Experience

Minimum 5 years of successful experience as a Placement Officer/Manager/Head or Training and Placement Officer at an Institute of National importance or premier business school with a strong corporate network.

OR

At least 7 years of experience as an HR/Marketing Head or senior HR professional with a prestigious corporate brand, possessing a strong network with top-level HR professionals making talent acquisition decisions.

Desirable Traits

Willingness to travel extensively for network building. Membership in well-known HR-networking bodies. Significant industry contacts with senior management. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and database management.

Important Working Conditions

  • Selected candidates are required to join immediately.

  • The role demands hard work and the ability to travel within India and overseas on short notice.

  • Candidates must be available to work on Saturdays/Sundays as needed, for which compensatory off will be provided.
