Project Title

“From Sacred Walls to Producers’ Doors: Livelihood Dynamics, Cultural Heritage, and Sustainability through GI-Tagged Idital Art of the Lanjia Saura Community of Odisha”

The project has been sanctioned under the ICSSR Second Call for Multidisciplinary Studies on Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups of India, 2025–26.

The remuneration will be paid according to applicable ICSSR guidelines.

Eligibility for Research Assistant

Candidates must possess:

  • A postgraduate degree in Social Science, Management, Commerce or a related discipline.

  • A minimum of 55% marks.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • NET, M.Phil. or Ph.D.

  • Knowledge of software such as Excel, SPSS or STATA.

  • Previous experience working on research projects.

Eligibility for Field Investigator

Candidates must possess:

  • A postgraduate degree in Social Science, Management, Commerce or a related discipline.

  • A minimum of 55% marks.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous fieldwork experience.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Nature of Engagement

The appointments will be temporary and linked exclusively to the duration and requirements of the ICSSR-funded research project. The selected candidates will not have any claim to permanent employment at the university.
