Position Overview

Eligibility Criteria & Experience

• For Senior Instructor: Master's degree in ECE / EEE / CSE / IT / Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.

• For Visiting Faculty: Ph.D. in the relevant field.

Other Essential Skills & Preferences:

• Special Education: Prior experience in special education is highly preferred. Knowledge of Indian Sign Language (ISL) will be considered a significant added advantage.

• Technical Skills: A strong foundational understanding of core subjects, alongside proficiency in Python and MATLAB (with an emphasis on practical application).

• Communication: Demonstrated technical writing skills for effective documentation.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Support initiatives aimed at building inclusive teaching practices and collaborate with faculty and industry experts on creating lecture and lab content.

• Assist students with speech and hearing disabilities in understanding the content and concepts discussed by the faculty, ensuring all their academic doubts are clarified.

• Conduct, explain, and guide students in performing practical lab experiments.

Salary & Remuneration

BITS Pilani offers highly competitive compensation for these positions, commensurate with the candidate's experience:

• Senior Instructor: Rs. 11,00,000 to Rs. 12,00,000 per annum

• Visiting Faculty: Rs. 17,00,000 per annum
