The Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, is inviting applications for the position of Research Fellow. Project Details
The selected candidate will work on the project titled "Building the Business Case for Gender-Responsive Extension and Advisory Services". The project team is under the guidance of Bheemeshwar Reddy A, Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct rigorous secondary data analysis and implement causal inference techniques under strict deadlines.
Handle and analyze large-scale survey data effectively.
Work independently while collaborating closely under the guidance of the Principal Investigators (PIs).
Synthesize literature and contribute to policy-oriented analysis and academic writing.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
Minimum: PhD (or PhD submitted dissertation) in Economics.
Experience & Skills:
Strong foundation in applied econometric methods.
Proficiency in statistical software such as Python, R, and/or Stata for empirical work.
Demonstrated experience in handling and analyzing large-scale survey data is essential.
Strong academic writing skills and experience in policy-oriented analysis will be considered a significant advantage.
