The Indian Institute of Management Raipur (IIM Raipur) invites applications from eligible candidates belonging to SC/ST/NC-OBC/EWS/PwD categories for faculty positions under its Special Recruitment Drive. The Institute follows a rolling advertisement model, allowing candidates to submit applications throughout the year. Applications received are screened and considered periodically as per institutional requirements.

Positions Available

Applications are invited for the following faculty positions (as per IIM norms and eligibility criteria):

• Professor

• Associate Professor

• Assistant Professor

• Other faculty positions as notified from time to time

Areas of Specialisation

Minimum Eligibility Criteria

General Requirements (Applicable to All Positions)

• Demonstrated ability to contribute to teaching, research, training, and published work

• Strong academic background with understanding of current developments in the field

• Engagement in research, course design, institutional development, consultancy, and executive training

Minimum Qualification

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree

• Minimum one year of industry/corporate experience, either before or after Ph.D.

Experience Requirements (Position-wise)

Professor

• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience

• At least 4 years at Associate Professor level in IITs, IIMs, IISc, IISERs, NITIE, or equivalent reputed institutions

Associate Professor

• Minimum 6 years of teaching/research/industrial experience

• At least 3 years at Assistant Professor level or equivalent

Assistant Professor – Grade I

• Minimum 3 years of teaching/research/industrial experience (excluding Ph.D. period)

• Fresh Ph.D. candidates may be considered on a contract basis

Assistant Professor – Grade II

• Fresh Ph.D. candidates or candidates with provisional Ph.D. award

• Preference will be given to candidates with publications in quality journals

Compensation & Benefits

Pay and allowances are as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) and Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India norms:

• Professor (Level 14A): ₹1,59,100 – ₹2,20,200

• Associate Professor (Level 13A2): ₹1,39,600 – ₹2,11,300

• Assistant Professor – Grade I (Level 12): ₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400

• Assistant Professor – Grade II (Level 11): ₹68,900 – ₹1,17,200

Reservation & Documentation

• NC-OBC and EWS certificates must be issued on or after 01 April of the current/preceding financial year

• Updated certificates must be produced at the time of interview
