Project Title:

Families in Transition: Ageing, Gendered Care and Digital Mediation in India

The ICSSR-sponsored research project is based in the Department of Sociology at Jamia Millia Islamia.

The positions offer an opportunity to contribute to a social science research project examining contemporary family and care-related issues.

Available Positions

1. Research Assistant – 01 Vacancy

Essential Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in a Social Science discipline, preferably Sociology.

• Minimum 55% marks.

Preference

Preference will be given to candidates possessing NET or Ph.D. qualifications.

2. Field Investigator – 02 Vacancies

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Social Sciences and Humanities, preferably Sociology.

• Minimum 55% marks.

Preference

Preference will be given to candidates from a four-year graduation programme.
