This Special Issue invites research examining how Indian startups, SMEs, entrepreneurs, and social enterprises are responding to sustainability challenges, innovation demands, external uncertainties, and changing business ecosystems.
About the Special Issue
India provides a distinctive setting for advancing entrepreneurship and business research due to its diverse institutional environments, regional economic disparities, migration patterns, sustainability challenges, and exposure to economic and geopolitical disruptions.
The Special Issue seeks research that explores how Indian enterprises develop sustainable business approaches, innovate, build organizational resilience, secure financing, manage crises, and respond to institutional and macroeconomic challenges.
Particular attention is given to research capable of extending entrepreneurship theories beyond contexts traditionally dominated by studies from developed economies and generating insights relevant to the Indian entrepreneurial ecosystem.
