Tribhuvan Sahkari University, Anand, Gujarat invites applications from eligible and accomplished academicians for appointment to the position of Director and Ex-officio Dean, Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) School.

The Director will serve as the principal academic and administrative officer of the IRMA School and will exercise supervision and control over all employees of the School.

Position Overview

About the Opportunity

In accordance with Section 15 of the “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University Act, 2025, applications are invited for the appointment of Director and Ex-officio Dean of the IRMA School.

The appointed Director will be responsible for the overall academic and administrative leadership of the School and will exercise supervision and control over its employees.

Essential Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess:

• A Ph.D. degree

• First Class or equivalent at the Master’s degree level

• Academic background in any field of Business and Management, including:

  • Cooperative Management

  • Agri Management

  • Humanities

  • Social Sciences

Experience Required

Candidates must have:

• At least 15 years of teaching and/or research experience

• At least 5 years of experience as a full-time Professor at a reputed institution/university

Research & Academic Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Successfully guided at least two Ph.D. theses as Supervisor or Co-Supervisor

• A minimum of eight research publications in SCI journals or UGC/AICTE-approved journals

Age Preference

Candidates should preferably be not more than 60 years of age on the closing date for receipt of applications.

Role of the Director

The Director and Ex-officio Dean will serve as the principal academic and administrative officer of the IRMA School, with responsibility for academic leadership, administration, and supervision of the School’s employees.
