Overview of Role

The School of Business at Indiana University Kokomo invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Business Administration position beginning Spring/Fall 2027.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and service, with preferred expertise in areas such as Management Information Systems, Accounting, Business Analytics, or Finance.

Key Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

• Teach three courses per semester.

• Deliver undergraduate-level Business Administration courses.

• Establish and maintain an active and productive research program.

• Contribute to program, campus, and university service.

• Support student-centered learning and academic success.

• Participate collaboratively in School of Business activities.

• Maintain a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile

• Required Education: Doctoral degree in Management or a closely related field.

• ABD Candidates: ABD applicants will be considered.

• Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate college level is required.

• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in student-centered learning.

• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, students, and colleagues.

• Strong commitment to teaching, research, and institutional service.

• Preferred Specializations: Management Information Systems, Accounting, Business Analytics, or Finance.
