Indian Institute of Technology Patna (IIT Patna) invites applications for 01 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position for a time-bound research project sponsored under the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant, ANRF.

Position Overview

Project Title

Development of a Rapid-Assembly Masonry System Using Fresh-Fabricated (Green-State) Ultra-Compressed Earth Blocks for Affordable and Sustainable Housing in India

The project focuses on developing innovative and sustainable construction technologies aimed at providing affordable housing solutions using advanced earth-block masonry systems.

Fellowship / Salary

The selected JRF will receive:

• 1st Year: INR 37,000 per month + HRA

• 2nd Year: INR 37,000 per month + HRA

• 3rd Year: INR 42,000 per month + HRA

HRA will be provided as applicable according to Government of India rules.

Project Duration

The appointment will initially be for one year.

The position may subsequently be extended for up to three years, subject to:

• Satisfactory performance of the selected candidate

• Continued project requirements

• Applicable institute/project regulations
