Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT Jammu) invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under an R&D project titled “Fair and Scalable Graph Algorithms for Large Networks”, sanctioned by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).

About the Research Project

The selected JRF will work on the ANRF-funded research project:

“Fair and Scalable Graph Algorithms for Large Networks”

The project focuses on the design and analysis of algorithms, particularly graph algorithms and related areas of theoretical and computational research.

Area of Specialization / Research

The position covers research in:

• Design and Analysis of Algorithms

• Graph Algorithms

• Algorithms

• Fairness

• Reinforcement Learning

Fellowship

The consolidated monthly salary is:

• Year 1–2: INR 37,000 per month + 18% HRA, as applicable

• Year 3: INR 42,000 per month + 18% HRA, as applicable

The fellowship will be provided according to applicable project/institute norms.

Appointment Duration

The appointment is initially for one year.

It may be extended depending on:

• Performance of the selected candidate

• Availability/continuation of the project

There is also a possibility of being enrolled in the PhD programme at IIT Jammu, subject to satisfying the institute's eligibility criteria and admission requirements.
