Project Title

“Low-cost Prosthetics Design and Fabrication using Advanced Textile and Composites Technology”

Job Profile

The selected Research Associate will be expected to:

• Perform sensor design

• Work on hardware design and development

• Conduct experimental trials

• Participate in clinical trials

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• Ph.D. in a relevant or allied discipline, along with

• B.E./B.Tech. in one of the following or a relevant area:

  • Electronic Engineering

  • Biomedical Engineering

  • Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

  • Computer Engineering with Sensors Technology

Desirable Qualifications

Preference may be given to candidates having:

• Prior experience of successfully completing a research project.

• Four research publications in peer-reviewed journals as first author. (Indian Institute of Technology Jammu)

📋 Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 35 years.

• Age relaxation of up to 5 years is applicable for eligible SC/ST/OBC candidates, women and persons with disabilities, as specified in the recruitment conditions. (Indian Institute of Technology Jammu)

Salary & Appointment Duration

The selected candidate will receive:

INR 49,000 per month + HRA as applicable

The salary is based on the approved project funds and carries no enhancement in salary under the sanctioned project provision.

The appointment will initially be for 6 months and may be extended depending on performance or until completion of the project, whichever is earlier. (Indian Institute of Technology Jammu)
