Project Title

MOSIAC Mobile phone based multi-modal optical imaging system with structured illumination and fluorescence spectroscopy powered by AI for depth resolved skin diagnostics at Point of Care

About the Project

The project focuses on developing signal processing and image processing algorithms for a mobile-phone-based multimodal optical imaging system.

The research will involve developing algorithms for:

• Frequency-domain imaging

• Fluorescence imaging

• Image penetration

• Skin cancer development and diagnostics

Essential Qualification

Candidates should meet one of the following qualification routes:

M.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. in Electronics Engineering / similar departments

Desirable Qualification & Skills

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Strong background in signal processing

• Knowledge of Python

• Knowledge of C / C++

• Interest in programming and coding

• GATE qualification is desirable

Fellowship

INR 42,000 per month + 16% House Rent Allowance (HRA)

HRA will be provided as per applicable norms.

Age Limit

Maximum Age: 35 years

Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India norms.

Appointment Duration

The initial appointment will be for:

1 year

The appointment may be extended after performance review.
