Position Overview

Project Title

“Development of Advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Methods and Hardware”

The selected Junior Research Fellows will work at the Applied Magnetic Resonance Imaging Science and Technology Lab (AMRIT Lab) in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, IIT Hyderabad.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should fulfil any one of the following qualification routes:

Option 1: B.E. / B.Tech.

B.E./B.Tech. in:

• Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

• Electrical Engineering

• Instrumentation Engineering

• Biomedical Engineering

• Computer Science

• Artificial Intelligence

• Related disciplines

Candidates should have:

• Minimum 70% marks or 7.0 CGPA

• Valid GATE score

Option 2: M.E. / M.Tech.

M.E./M.Tech. in:

• Electronics and Communication Engineering

• Electrical Engineering

• Instrumentation Engineering

• Biomedical Engineering

• Computer Science

• Artificial Intelligence

• Related disciplines

Candidates should have a minimum of:

• 70% marks, or

• 7.0 CGPA

from a recognized institute.

Option 3: M.Sc.

M.Sc. in:

• Physics

• Chemistry

Candidates should have:

• Minimum 70% marks or 7.0 CGPA

• Valid GATE score

The research project broadly involves:

• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

• Biomedical Imaging

• MRI Hardware Development

• Advanced MRI Methods

• Medical Imaging Technology

• Biomedical Engineering

• Signal and Image Processing

• Instrumentation for Medical Imaging

Fellowship

The selected Junior Research Fellow will receive:

INR 37,000 per month + HRA

HRA will be provided as per applicable Government norms, if eligible.
