Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering and qualify through at least one of the following routes:

1. Selection through a national-level eligibility test such as CSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship), or GATE.

2. Selection through national-level examinations conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies or institutions, including DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISCR, etc., as listed in the advertisement.

Additional Technical Requirements

Candidates should have:

• Expertise in running Direct Simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) codes.

• Sufficient knowledge of rarefied gas dynamics.
