Project Title

The selected candidate will work on this research project under the School of Interdisciplinary Studies and Sustainability, IIT Guwahati.

Position Details

Designation: Senior Research Fellow – SRF (Direct)

Number of Vacancies: 01

Duration: 10 months

Monthly Remuneration:

• Recommended Pay: INR 42,000

• HRA: INR 4,200 (10%)

• Total Monthly Amount: INR 46,200

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess either:

• Postgraduate degree in Basic Science

OR

• Graduate/Postgraduate degree in a Professional Course

Candidates should have been selected through an eligible national-level examination/process, including:

• CSIR-UGC NET, including Lectureship / Assistant Professorship

• GATE

• Other recognized national-level examinations conducted by Central Government departments, agencies or institutions

Recognized organizations may include:

• DST

• DBT

• DAE

• DOS

• DRDO

• MHRD

• ICAR

• ICMR

• IISc

• IISERs

• Other equivalent recognized institutions

Research Experience

Candidates should have 2 years of research experience, as specified in the recruitment notice.

Fellowship / Salary

The selected SRF will receive:

• INR 42,000 per month

• HRA: INR 4,200 per month

• Total: INR 46,200 per month

Appointment Duration

The appointment will initially be for 10 months, subject to the terms and conditions of the research project.
