About the Opportunity

IIT Gandhinagar is recruiting a Senior Research Fellow for the Chitrabhasha research project.

The project focuses on developing a large-scale Indian dataset and foundation models for Multimodal Artificial Intelligence.

The selected candidate will work under the guidance of Prof. Mayank Singh, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

1. Educational Qualification: M.Tech./M.S./M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering or an equivalent degree in a closely related discipline, with a minimum of 60% marks or 7.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale.

2. National Eligibility Test: Qualification in CSIR-UGC NET, including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship), or GATE.

3. Research Experience: Minimum two years of research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree, as per institute norms.

Candidates must also satisfy the applicable institute and funding agency eligibility requirements.

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive:
