Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) invites applications for one Project Manager position under the C-NARMADA Project in the Department of Civil Engineering. The appointment is temporary and will initially be for six months or until completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

Position Overview

About the Opportunity

The Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Gandhinagar is recruiting a Project Manager for the C-NARMADA project.

The selected candidate will work under the supervision of Prof. Pranab Mohapatra and contribute to project management and associated research/administrative activities.

Essential Qualification & Experience

Candidates should meet one of the following qualification pathways:

Option 1

• B.Tech./B.E./M.Sc./M.C.A./LL.M./C.A./CMA/C.S./MBA/M.Com or equivalent professional qualification in an appropriate discipline.

• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in:

  • Teaching/research/industrial/design and development,

  • Administration in an organization/industry of repute,
    OR

  • Any combination of the above.

Option 2

• B.C.A./B.Sc./B.A./B.Com./B.B.A./LL.B. or equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline.

• Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in:

  • Teaching/research/industrial/design and development,

  • Administration in an organization/industry of repute.

Academic Requirements

As stated in the advertisement, candidates must satisfy the prescribed academic percentage/grade requirements under IIT Gandhinagar norms.

Remuneration

Consolidated Monthly Remuneration: INR 60,000 – INR 1,25,000 per month

The exact remuneration will be determined according to the institute's applicable norms and the candidate's qualifications/experience.

Duration of Appointment

The initial appointment will be for:

6 months or until the project completion date, whichever is earlier.

The appointment may be extended based on:

• Performance of the selected candidate.

• Requirements and duration of the project.
