The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) invites applications for 01 Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) position under a research project in the Department of Electrical Engineering. The appointment is temporary and initially offered for one year.

Position Overview

Project Title

Experimental Characterization of Asymptotic Scaling Laws in Beyond Convex-Hull (BCH) Range-Based Localization

The project involves advanced research in areas related to range-based localization, communication systems, signal processing, and electrical engineering.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a relevant area

Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible and encouraged to apply.

Applicants should also have an educational background in:

• Communications

• Signal Processing

Academic Requirements

As per the advertisement, candidates should have:

• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in academic qualifications from graduation onwards

• Minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in Class 10 and Class 12

Remuneration

The selected Post-Doctoral Fellow will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration in the range of:

INR 72,000 to INR 84,000 per month

The exact remuneration will be determined according to applicable IIT Gandhinagar norms.

Duration of Appointment

The initial appointment will be for:

1 Year

The appointment may be extended based on satisfactory performance and applicable project/institute requirements.
