The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) invites applications for 01 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering for a research project focused on Quantum Machine Learning.

Position Overview

Project Title

Development of Quantum Machine Learning Use Cases and Applications

The selected JRF will contribute to research involving Quantum Machine Learning and its applications, combining concepts from computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, and related engineering disciplines.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess either:

Option 1

A Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related areas such as:

• Information Technology

• Electrical Engineering

• Electronics Engineering

• Artificial Intelligence

• Data Science

with a valid GATE score.

OR

Option 2

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related areas such as:

• Information Technology

• Electrical Engineering

• Electronics Engineering

• Artificial Intelligence

• Data Science

with a valid GATE score.

Academic Requirements

Candidates should have a consistently good academic record with:

• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in Graduation and above

• Minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in Class 10 and Class 12

Eligibility will be governed by the applicable funding agency norms.

Fellowship / Remuneration

The selected Junior Research Fellow will receive:

Duration of Appointment

The appointment will be for:

1 year or until July 21, 2027, whichever is earlier.
