• Assistant Professor Grade-I: Academic Pay Level-12 (₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400)

• Assistant Professor Grade-II: Academic Pay Level-10 (₹57,700 – ₹98,200) with a minimum starting pay fixed at Cell No. 16: ₹89,800

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

1. Assistant Professor Grade-I:

   • Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in an appropriate branch with a consistently very good academic record throughout.

   • A minimum of 3 years of industrial, research, or teaching experience (excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D.).

2. Assistant Professor Grade-II:

   • Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in an appropriate branch with a consistently very good academic record throughout.

Professional Incentives & Institutional Benefits

• Special Monthly Fellowship: Faculty members joining on a regular position or initially on contract with the provision of regularization receive a fellowship of ₹30,000 per month for 3 years.

• Faculty Initiation Grant: Research grant up to ₹20 Lakhs for 2 years upon submitting a research proposal, plus an additional grant of up to ₹2 Lakhs for IT equipment (laptop, printer, etc.) upon joining.

• Professional Development Allowance (PDA): ₹3 Lakhs over a 3-year block as per rules.

• Relocation Allowance: Travel and household shifting expenses reimbursed up to ₹1 Lakh (for applicants from India) and up to ₹1.5 Lakhs (for applicants joining from abroad).

• Accommodation & Health: Campus residential housing allotment (subject to availability) and comprehensive medical coverage/reimbursement for faculty and family.

• Allowances: Children Education Allowance and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) as per GoI rules.

• Travel & Accommodation: Shortlisted applicants invited for in-person interviews will receive round-trip travel reimbursement within India (economy airfare through authorized agents IRCTC, Balmer Lawrie, or Ashoka Travels) and guest house accommodation on campus.
